Lisa Jacob

Lisa Jacob is an executive and performance coach, and former Irish international hockey player who amassed 139 caps and 17 goals over a 9-year career. She played hockey semi-professionally for Dutch club SCHC in 2013, and then took up a contract to play with the Irish Rugby 7s squad for 18 months. After retiring from international team sport, Lisa ventured into endurance cycling and went on to complete the Race Around Ireland (2,200 km) with her partner Nikki Dorey, setting a new and still unbeaten record of 88 hours 25 mins in the female pair category while also raising €30,000 for mental health charity Suicide or Survive.
In the last number of years, Lisa has held multiple roles in sport leadership and governance; including board director, strategic planning, coach development, and high-performance consultant. She is currently the manager of the Irish Senior Women’s Hockey Team as they prepare for the Tokyo Olympics.
